The Key finder still works just the same, simply attach the fob part to your keys, and keep the credit card sized transmitter handy in any purse, wallet or pocket to call upon when it is needed. a simple push of the button on the transmitter sends a signal looking for the key fob and your keys, which if within range will emit an audible beeping, as well as flashing light. Talking of range, this is one of the areas that has been improved so the Key Finder can now locate lost keys up to 30 metres (90 feet) away. This is nearly double the distance of the original model!
Depending upon how often you use your Key finder you may find yourself needing to replace the batteries, and this has now also been made much easier than it was previously. You can now access the batteries within the fob section simply by undoing a screw. The new model also comes with a set of batteries containing a full charge, so that your key finder can be fully powered up and ready to go straight out of the packaging. This is great news for anyone like us who also uses the Key finder for playing hide and seek.
The extra sensitive RF receiver ensures that even if your keys are deeply entrenched inside a drawer, or buried under bedding you'll still have no problem finding them quickly just when you need them.
